General conditions of participation

CALL FOR ENTRIES – FILMS IN PROGRESS 44

Register form :

The registering is now open until Wednesday January 22nd of 2025.
Before completing the form, please read carefully:

Required conditions to register your project :

  • Feature films must be a Latin-American production, in majority or minority
  • Call for entries is only for feature films, hybrid movies and animation
  • Movies must be in the stage of post-production (at least First Cut)
  • Length of the final movie must be at least 60 minutes
  • Length of the project as it is submitted must be at least 45 minutes
  • The project as it is submitted must be subtitled in English or in Spanish if the language spoken isn’t Spanish
  • The festival will only accept dowloadable links such as vimeo, youtube, or anything similar without expiry dates and protected by a password
  • The selection comitee will only accept screeners such as WeTransfer, MyAirBridge or else, nor the links requiring an account to gain access such as Dropbox, Google Docs, Cinando, etc
  • The person submitting the project must be sure the shared link meets their expectations at the moment they register and communicate any change as soon as possible to Esther Saint-Dizier at : esther.saintdizier@cinelatino.fr
  • Once the form is sent, you will receive a confirmation mail and the PDF version of your form. If you sent un link to watch the project, it will automatically be included in the process and you won’t receive any other notification.
  • Registering is free

 If you project is selected:

  • The director and the productor must be in Toulouse from March 25 to 29 of 2025
  • The movie must be subtitled in English
  • The selected movies will be contacted during the last week of February 2025.
  • Every selected movie must use the Films in Progress logo and the final movie’s credits and on every other promotional support (you can find the logo on the festival’s website)
  • Final copy must be sent to the festival only in DCP – 5.1 sound. Deadlines and technical conditions will be directly communicated to the selected projects
