BambúMoon

A Fabrica Studio FIlm in Progress Award 2025

A mother with a fragile health tells her daughter, still in her womb, her story about her orphanhood: when she was six, her parents were killed. They told her they went missing, and that an old gringo would care for her deep in the mountains, in his home— a hidden refuge for rebels for decades. The country burned as her heart, nature, and dreams whispered the truth. She embraced death, dreamed once more of the Sierra, drank from motherhood and the Earth’s strength to continue her path.
