A mother, a daughter, a neighbour. Lonely and together, the trio cultivates frustration and reproach in anonymous, empty, surroundings, weaving a dull and unhealthy relationship based on dependence. There’s the occasional way out, particularly for the daughter, but the chances slip by in the routine and oppression that dominate their lives. And by the time things blow up on them it’s too late: it’s the three of them or nothing.
Aldo Garay
Since 1998 he works as a director with the Montevideo community cable TV Channel, TevéCiudad. He has directed a number of documentary series and in 2001 won for the Best Director of Uruguayan Television un 2001. His first feature La Espera, obtained varios post production awards.
